CCNM - Rede.lê Extension
The New Media Convergence Centre – Rede.lê is a research group on Fafich – UFMG’s History Department whose partners are Brazilian Culture Ministry, Belo Horizonte’s Educational Department and Embratel Institute. It develops methodologies on the use of the Information and Communication New Technologies, on educational contexts and articulates presence spots throughout Brazil, among them, the nine schools from Belo Horizonte’s Educational Net, where forumdoc.bh.2006’s Extension Film Show takes place.
The Extension Film Show was developed collaboratively by CCNM-Rede.lê’s and forumdoc.bh.2006’s crews. Besides deciding its programme the coordinated crew prepared the school for the festival’s arrival. During August and September, we selected - using each of the nine school’s pedagogical projects as starting points - showed and discussed some films from the last six forumdoc’s National Competitive Film Show. As a result of this experience, the school’s community created a blog (www.forumdocredele.blogspot.com) where they can register their comments and impressions on the films they watched. Now, during the tenth edition, the films on the National Competitive Film Show are projected and discussed on the same places.
